The Catapult design team originated from the CRC for microTechnology Product Development Team.
In this guise, the group ran successful projects for many of the CRC’s research projects helping bridge the gap between innovation and commercialisation. The CRC included participants such as Motorola, Alcatel, Robert Bosch, The Australian Insitute of Sport, Cochlear and others.
The team has developed special expertise in interfacing generic engineering disciplines to innovations in small scale technologies – that is Bio, Micro and nanotechnologies.
This means that if your research group has ideas for a new rapid diagnostic medical device using microfluidics and nanotechnology, Catapult can provide the surrounding expertise to turn this into a fully developed product.
Via its relationship with the Small Technologies Cluster in Scoresby Victoria, and the support of the Victorian Government, these services can be accessed a low cost, making them available to early stage start ups and public sector research organisations.
Catapult is proud to be a member of the Small Technologies Cluster based in Scoresby Victoria.
